Abstract:
This paper summarizes current knowledge of Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF), and the role of alveolar injury in its pathogenesis. The impact of COVID-19 on the pathogenesis of IPF will be considered before discussing how we might use the information to develop strategies for stratification of IPF.
